Urban Builder LLC is a family-owned general contracting firm in Kirkland, WA, built on a simple belief: a home remodel should be an exciting transformation, not a source of stress. As a licensed general contractor serving Kirkland, Bellevue, Seattle, and the greater Eastside, we handle everything from kitchen remodels and bathroom renovations to custom home building, ADU construction, and commercial buildouts — from initial design to the final finishing phase.
Founded in 2021 by Valter and Alex — a father-and-son team of licensed civil engineers — we bring over 55 years of combined construction experience to every project. Valter graduated from MGSU as a civil engineer, then moved his family to America and earned a second Engineering degree from the University of Washington — working construction sites by day and studying by night. After decades of mastering custom cabinetry and structural design, he partnered with his son Alex, who earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering, to create a construction company where the owner personally supervises every job site. No middlemen, no surprises — just quality work across King County.
